1-800-TRY MOAB
I know, you are thinking "why M-4?". Well M-4 was the original brand for the ranch, M-4 is a family cabin with a large shaded lawn. The log walls on the exterior and interior create a feeling of stepping back in time.
Room enough for the family with a Queen bed in the master and a fun loft area that sleeps four.
The renovated bathroom features a red rock shower. The newer kitchen has a country feel, but room to cook if you like. Everything you need to cook is there. Just bring the groceries...
Like the name says, when you are at the end of the trail, it's time to relax from all the work. Although a favorite for couples with the king bed and knotty pine walls, the sofa will convert to a sleeper for more guests, and the king can be made in two twins, if you are "just friends".
This cabin is near the creek, the pool and the spa.
Don't miss the sunset over the Red Rock Ridge...from the new covered deck. Watch for wild cats as you enjoy your breakfast, and listen to the cry of coyotes at night.

We chose the best one, M4, and the smallest one, Trails End. That way when our kids come to visit, we can enjoy the grand-kids while our children get the privacy of Trails End. They love biking and hiking in Moab, and we love the serenity and open green space on the ranch.
We have spent the last 20 years making our cabins comfortable and beautiful, while keeping with the authentic feel of real log cabins....Moderm kitchens, and baths, covered porches and decks and airconditioning all enhanced the original cabins.
The Pool was added in the 1960s and the s spa came later. The hot tub was replaced and upgraded reecently. After a day in the desert, the amenities are refreshing. If you are looking for peace and serenity try the new Meditative Labrynth.

The ranch was originally over 300 acres, and cattle still roam the valley, sometimes leaving their marks on our grass... Before the settlers, the Native Americans hung out here and supposedly chased the white guys out who left so fast they left their packs giving Pack Creek its name.
M4 is the cabin built by the original rancher, Musselman, who came here from Boulder, Utah and raised his four sons in the loft. His herd bore the brand M4.
Edward Abbey spent time writing one of his books here on the ranch, and characters from "The Monkey Wrench Gang" still live in the valley. (You may notice "Desert Solitaire" Road, and Abbey Road.)
One of the best experiences you can have in Moab is the "Canyonlands By Night" river cruise. You may also want to raft the Colorado with one of the many companies in Moab.

How about exploring by renting your own jeep and drive the Gemini Bridges trail. Explore both Arches and Canyonlands as well as the Utah state park Dead Horse Point by car, jeep or with hiking.
Mountain Bikers love Moab's Slickrock Trail, or if you are REALLY into biking, take "The Whole Enchilada" which starts 15 miles up the mountain from Pack Creek and goes 34 miles to town descending 8000 feet ....
